Leon Pridgen is originally from Aberdeen, Maryland, but makes his home in North Carolina, with his wife and two children..

His journey in life so far has taken him from the jungles of Panama with the 82nd Airborne Division, to Hollywood film sets starring opposite Halle Berry and Omar Epps in the college football film "The Program." He has performed in numerous theatrical productions.  One of his best and most challenging experiences was working with Director Larry Leon Hamlin on the August Wilson play "Fences."

Mr. Hamlin hosts the National Black Theater Festival bi-annually in Winston Salem, NC.

"Color of Justice" is Leon Pridgen's first novel.  It started as a screenplay and evolved into a full-length novel.  While turning "Color of Justice" into a novel, he discovered the joy of taking more time to explore the different characters without the constraints that a screenplay sometimes places on you.  Leon hopes you will enjoy reading "Color of Justice" as much as he enjoyed writing it.
